I began my electrical career in 2012, completing an NVQ Level 3 Apprenticeship in Electrical Installation. Over the years, I’ve worked in multiple areas of the industry — from domestic installs and maintenance to design, consultancy, and regulatory compliance.

After my apprenticeship, I moved into quality engineering, where I developed a sharp focus on standards, audits, and continuous improvement. That mindset now drives the way I run AOD Electrical — ensuring every project is approached with accuracy, traceability, and process in mind.

Between 2019 and 2023, I worked in electrical design and consultancy within the building services sector. I’ve contributed to the design and planning of numerous electrical systems for commercial buildings, integrating safety, efficiency, and compliance into every stage.

In 2023, I returned to hands-on work full-time, building on my experience with projects ranging from electrical maintenance and testing to smart systems, renewables, and fire safety.

I started AOD Electrical in 2024 to bring all this together — offering clients a service that blends technical capability with high standards and strong systems.
